Bootjack is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Mariposa County, California, United States. Bootjack is located 4.5 miles 7.2km east-southeast of Mariposa, at an elevation of 2238 feet 682 m. The population was 960 at the 2010 census, down from 1,588 at the 2000 census.
